Well, here's my very overdue end of the art trade I have going on with ! Sorry this one took so long but I still hope you really like it.
It's based of an idea that's been floating in my head for about three or so years: "JtHM" set in the Victorian era. Think Jack the Ripper, Sweeney Todd, Sherlock Holmes etc.
I'm really pleased with how it all turned out, especially Johnny (the Ripper ). I always thought my previous attempts at Nny looked way too...bishonen. Far too "pretty boy" for my liking. I wanted to get him all scrawny and creepied up and I think I succeeded there.
The frames were pretty freaking fun to do too.
In case you were wondering, that's paint on Devi's gloves and Nny's? Well, he's a homicidal manaic, you can figure it out yourself.
Oh, and just in case...
DISCLAIMER: "JtHM" and its characters belong to Jhonen Vasquez.
Awesomeness! I especially love the way you drew the eyes, Johnny's evil look and Devi's er rings. ^^

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

The outfits were crazy fun to come up with as well as the old painting concept too. Almost the "haunted mansion" effect.
I'm really happy you like it.

The eyes (Johnny's in particular) are something I'm very proud of.
Devi's rings?

The frames are pretty fun to do, though pretty time consuming in their own right.

Well the parts that you work on the most almost always look awesome in the end.
