Okay, so I was watching "The Little Mermaid" two nights ago and I remembered that drawing of Lisa Simpson as a mermaid I did last year...then, my mind shifted to an old drawing I drew in high school of Milhouse as Flounder (the idea was highly amusing at the time).
Since I have nearly two weeks to go (!!!) until my trip to Disneyland, I decided to take some time out to draw a Simpsonized take on Disney's classic film. After all, "The Little Mermaid" is Lisa's favorite movie...that is until Homer taped over it with "The Odd Couple".
Oh, and a word of advice? Keep your old sketchbooks. You never know what ideas you came up back then will end up popping back up in the future for revisions.
this is a great picture, i bet lisa hates homer for distroying that recording of little mermaid, she should get a recordable disc do odd couple on it for homer, then record little mermaid on the tape that used to have it on before it fell into the wrong hands.
Ha ha, glad I'm not the only one who totally sees the resemblance. I still remember watching the movie a few weeks back, watching Flounder and (nearly) saying out loud "Milhouse!" Man, did my 14 year old self hit the mark or what (that was when I first drew Milhouse Flounder)?
God I love my Milhouse fish.
