Okay, this was inspired by a very late night conversation between and I from several weeks ago. It all started when he linked me to a Kylie Minogue music video and once I thought about the music video for "Slow", I decided that I wanted to be Kylie Minogue in some other life time (if you've seen the video, you'll understand ). Then, I realized that there was a whole bunch of other wickedly awesome gals I wanted to be in another life.
And so Jenn (the star's an "A") was born.
Throw in some elements of Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Debbie Harry (of Blondie), Siouxsie Sioux, Emilie Autumn, Amanda Palmer, Jem (she's truly outrageous!), Jane Lane (because I can ) and Rainbow Brite and voila!
In case you were wondering, that guitar is shaped like a heart. Imagine the guitar solo in Daft Punk's "Digital Love" and that's what it sounds like. Also that's a diamond encrusted whip attatched to the microphone, coiled around the stand (rawr! :whip: ).
Oh, and when you're bitch-slapped by Jenn, you don't have a red sore embedded on your face, it's sparkly pink scratch marks instead.
*sigh* Fantasy alter egos and sparkly pink explosions are fun!
Sometimes my outfit designs come from various different influences and inspirations (sites like batgearbeyond.com really help feed the fashionable imagination). In this case, the idea of a pink and black, frilly disco dominatrix type thing had been in my head for a while but I decided to add the influences of the forementioned ladies (though I had more of a "What would Madonna wear?" mind mantra going on).
Funny you should mention Chuck Norris, the same night that bitch-slap conversation took place was at a birthday party I was at last week. The ice cream cake was pretty frozen solid and I suggested that only Chuck Norris could karate chop the frozen cake in half.
But yes, thank you very much for the comment (and the fave ).

I can definitely see where you could find the Princess Ai influence. It definitely must be the lace, pink, ruffles and spikes.
Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Yup, I totally know where you're getting at. The scene where she performs for the first time at the club.

How do you come up with such cool outfits?
The bitchslap thing reminds of Chuck Norris jokes. xDD
And, she reminds me of the so much of the eighties cartoon, "Gem." That was always one of my favorites! That, and Punky Brooster.
